Harvest Jazz & Blues Website Redesigned for Better User Experience

Festival patrons were treated to a brand new Harvest Jazz & Blues website on July 18th, this year, as they went online to make their purchases on the opening day of ticket sales.

Royama Design rebuilt the website from the ground up to provide a more practical and rich user experience for those making plans to attend the much-loved event. With so many great acts to see over several days, Festival-goers have to sift through a lot of information when making their purhcase decisions. With the help of a content management system in the background, visitors will find that information about artists, shows, scheduling, venues and ticket purchases are now conveniently cross-referenced and linked. Users can now watch a YouTube clip of an artist they wish to see, then link to the show description to see who else is playing, find the venue location on the same page with the help of an interactive map, and then jump directly to the ticket page to make a purchase.

The rebuilt site will also give the Festival staff greater levels of content management, and integrated blog and a custom Twitter app.
